How Much Is Your Business Worth?

Business Valuation

Regardless of whether you plan to sell your business now or sometime in the future, a valuation is a very important planning component.  Corporate Finance Associates (CFA) has the experience and tools to quickly and accurately establish the value.

There are multiple reasons why a business valuation is performed, the following are a few:

  • Selling or Buying A Business
  • Gift or Estate Planning
  • Marital Dissolution (Divorce)
  • Litigation Support
  • Stockholder Actions
  • Mergers and Acquisitions

The Partners have a combined 40 years of business transaction and valuation experience along with years of continued valuation education that provide CFA with a solid understanding of establishing business values.  In addition, our appraisal staff has Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) certifications and Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) and American Society of Appraisers (ASA) designations.

Our staff works within the guidelines set by three major appraisal standards, being:

  • The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, USPAP, of the Appraisal Foundation
  • The American Society of Appraisers Business Valuation Standards
  • The Institute of Business Appraisers Business Appraisal Standards
